Principal's Message

 

Welcome to Norco Elementary School!

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the principal of Norco Elementary School. I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our exceptional students, dedicated faculty and staff, supportive families, and wonderful community as we continue our tradition of excellence.

For more than 27 years, I have proudly served the St. Charles Parish Public School System as a teacher, Staff Development Coordinator, assistant principal, and principal. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of New Orleans and my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to creating schools where every child feels safe, valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Norco is much more than the place where I work—it is home. My family and I are proud to be part of this remarkable community and deeply invested in the success of our schools. My husband, Donnie, teaches Television Production at Destrehan High School, and our daughter, Kaylee, was proud to attend Norco Elementary, Harry Hurst Middle School, and Destrehan High School. Our family's roots in this community strengthen my commitment to ensuring every child receives an exceptional educational experience.

At Norco Elementary, our mission is to create a safe, loving environment in which there are high levels of learning. We believe every child can succeed, and we are dedicated to helping our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Through strong relationships, high expectations, and meaningful partnerships with our families and community, we strive to prepare every student for success both in and beyond the classroom.
